ABREaDA exists to support the alpaca breeders of Australia, and in particular those involved with its foundation and on-going support from Western Victoria.

ABREaDA has, since its inception in 2008, been instrumental in supporting the breeders of that region with events and activities, and with the acquisition of the necessary infrastructure to ensure that alpaca based events are conducted in a safe and effective manner.

For more effective operation, ABREaDA has developed links with other alpaca based groups within the area, including Otway Alpaca Mob - a group of alpaca breeders and owners located in Victoria’s Otways Region - and Knitalpaca - taking fleece to quality knitting yarns - to support the development of alpaca enterprises.
